Series creator Eric Kripke is at it again, giving TVGuide.com the scoop on what to expect this season. The guys talk with People Magazine
People magazine talks to Jared, Jensen and Jeffrey about their interaction as the Winchester family. It sounds like they all have a lot of fun together. For example, take this exchange:
People: Do you guys like '70s metal as much as your characters?
Morgan: The '70s metal is more my deal, but I think they like more the dance mix and techno, especially Jared – he really likes his techno pop (laughs). Jensen is the one with the record collection – Yanni, Barry Manilow.
Ah, the joys of mocking those closest to you. These guys really do seem like family.
Departed director dedication
This past episode was dedicated to Peter Ellis, who died in April this year. Ellis had directed the episodes The Benders and Bloody Mary. According to Variety, donations may be made to Getting Out by Going In.org.
Action hero life: the ups and downs
Jensen Ackles talks about the perks and perils of being an action hero: "I'll be getting into the shower and all of a sudden it will be like, 'Whoa!' I'll find a new cut or a bump or a bruise. I'll feel a cut on my elbow and think, 'Oh, nice!'"
Talking about the dad role
Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays John Winchester, talks to Zap2It "I'm 12 years older than Jensen in reality, but I'm like 25 years older than him in intelligence, so it works out. I'm not that old, dang it. I feel like [Jensen and Jared] are my brothers more than my boys. You're making me feel like an old person, all of a sudden. I'm not even 40 yet -- give me a break."
